I am always looking at the next building.
Gwynfryn is small and intends to stay hands-on. What I am after is capital partners for specific buildings — people who want exposure to Cardiff property without becoming a landlord, a project manager and a cleaner.
What we actually do
I find buildings worth less than they should be, work out why, and fix it — usually through refurbishment, always through how the property is run afterwards. Charles Street is the current example: one building, three apartments, taken back to the brick.
Why Cardiff
A capital city with a stadium in the middle of it, and demand that isn't only tourism — contractors, medical staff, relocations and insurance placements fill the weeks between the big weekends. I was born here and my family are still here, which in a market this size is not sentiment — it is knowing which streets are worth being on.
How we work with partners
Arrangements are put together around the specific building rather than off a standard sheet, so the structure, the term and what security sits behind it are all things to go through properly rather than publish on a website. Ask me and I will talk you through the numbers on whatever is live at the time.
